Meet the Team
Ethan Sedman PT, DPT
Ethan Sedman PT, DPT
Ethan was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. At age six his favorite book was “How Your Body Works” and he became interested in learning about the human body. As he grew up and participated in sports, especially wrestling in high school, he became more interested in how exercise could change the body and enhance health. He attended Adelphi University in New York and received his Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude with specialization in exercise science. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College with an Outstanding Scholarship Award in 2015. Ethan moved to Colorado Springs in 2015 after his parents had moved to Silverthorne, Colorado following retirement. He fell in love with the beauty of the area and all the outdoor activities available including hiking and mountain biking.
Ethan originally worked in outpatient physical therapy for over 4 years and took extra courses in dry needling, manual physical therapy, and cranial mobilization with Tim Bonack. In order to expand his experience, he worked as an inpatient physical therapist at Evans Army Community Hospital from 2019 until 2021. He decided outpatient physical therapy was his first love and to return to it. Manual Edge Physiotherapy shared his passion for manual physical therapy to help his patients, especially those with complex conditions, and he joined the team in June 2022.
Ethan enjoys treating a wide variety of pain conditions and has also received training in the treatment of vertigo/balance difficulties and concussion. Ethan’s hobbies include running, biking, hiking, and ultimate frisbee. His most important focus outside his work is his wife, daughter, and their dog.

Teresa Owen PT
Teresa Owen PT
Teresa was born in Denver and raised in Colorado Springs and the Black Forest area north of the city. She attended the University of New Mexico where she earned her degree in Physical Therapy and certification in Athletic Training.
Teresa has worked in both outpatient clinics and in-home care for many of her years as a physical therapist, work she has greatly enjoyed. She felt a pull and returned to the outpatient setting. Along the way, she has continued her training in manual therapy including cranial, visceral and functional techniques.
While her background is in orthopedics, joint pain and treating a range of patients from post-surgical to geriatric, she felt compelled to explore more complex and ultimately more effective methods of treatment. That is what led her to Manual Edge Physiotherapy.
When she is not treating her patients, Teresa loves to spend time outdoors hiking, mountain biking and with her husband on short photo excursions where together they uncover detail in landscapes and jointly compose the images he captures.
Outside of physical therapy, Teresa’s greatest love is the warmth of her family. Her passion is spending time with family cooking, baking, celebrating holidays and sharing meals together.
